Odisha Cricket Association today announced to conduct the its OCA Annual General Meeting and election of office-bearers for a four-year term (2012 to 2016) here at Barabati Stadium here on September 9. The decision in this regard was taken at the council meeting, which was presided over by OCA president Ranjib Biswal yesterday.
According to the decision, the election will be conducted for a total of 21 posts, which include one president, 11 vice-presidents (at least five from outside Cuttack), one secretary, four joint-secretaries, one treasurer and three council members (from Class-II clubs only).
Altogether 150 representatives of affiliated districts, clubs, colleges, schools will be eligible to cast their votes in the election. The affiliated units include 15 old districts (three votes each), 18 new districts (two each), 15 Class-I clubs (two each), five Class-II clubs (one each), five colleges (two each), 10 schools and four ex-officio members (one each).
The report of secretary Asirbad Behera for the year 2011-12, the audited statement of accounts, the report of the auditor for the year 2011-12 and the annual budget of the association for the year 2012-13 were confirmed unanimously and forwarded to the General Body. Finally, the members discussed on the election of office-bearers as per Article-19 of the OCA constitution.

Filing of nomination: On or before August 24 by 6.00 pm in OCA office
Scrutiny: August 25 by 6.00 pm in OCA office
Withdrawal of candidature: August 27 by 3.00 pm in OCA office
Declaration of valid list of candidates: August 27 by 4.00 pm in OCA office
Voting: September 9 in the AG Meeting in OCA Conference Hall at 11.30 am
